Kurosaki Ichigo: Tosen... I didn't want it to come to this.

Kurosaki Ichigo: After Ukitake, Mayuri, Zaraki, and Toushirou... I'm so tired of this.

Kaname Tosen: Kurosaki... you don't understand the burden you carry.

Kaname Tosen: My hollowfication... it was meant to bring justice. But now I can't even control myself.

Kurosaki Ichigo: I never wanted to be a killer, Tosen. I just wanted to protect everyone.

Kurosaki Ichigo: (But all I've done is take lives. What kind of protector does that make me?)

Kaname Tosen: This form... I can't maintain it. The hollow is consuming me, but something is wrong.

Kaname Tosen: I can see, Kurosaki! For the first time, I can actually see! But what I see... is my own monstrosity.

Kurosaki Ichigo: Then let me free you from this, Tosen. It's the only mercy I have left to offer.

Kaname Tosen: Do it, Kurosaki. But know this - your blade brings not death, but salvation.

Kaname Tosen: The impossible situation... it's not mine. It's yours. To carry on after all this.
