Story transcript

Mahoro: Good morning, honored guest. Your magical signature is... unusual for this residential district.

Demon lord Murasaki: Perfect timing! I need a cozy base while I conquer this world. This house has excellent feng shui!

Mahoro: My master requires a peaceful environment for his studies. Demon lords typically generate excessive property damage.

Demon lord Murasaki: Rude assumption! I'm a reformed demon lord. Magical girl, technically. See?

Samantha Arkadia: Another magical anomaly. This household attracts them like magnets.

Mahoro: My apologies, Miss Arkadia. Shall I activate the perimeter defense protocols?

Demon lord Murasaki: Ooh, a three-way standoff! How shounen anime of us.

Samantha Arkadia: Fighting destroys the security deposit. Perhaps we establish ground rules first.

Demon lord Murasaki: Ground rules? I love those! I'm excellent at following rules I've personally rewritten.

Mahoro: Master Suguru will be home in four hours. I calculate a 73% chance he accidentally invites her to stay.

Demon lord Murasaki: Housewarming gift! It feeds on negative energy and produces... well, mostly screams.

Samantha Arkadia: Landlord will love that.

Mahoro: Perhaps the honored guest would prefer the guest room... with reinforced walls... and holy seals?

Demon lord Murasaki: Don't mind if I do! Which room has the best view for plotting world domination?
