Alita: Sometimes I get these flashes... memories that don't feel like mine.
Alita: Like someone else is living inside my head.
Korra: I know exactly what you mean. The past Avatars are always with me.
Korra: Sometimes I can't tell where they end and I begin.
Alita: But how do you know who you really are then? What parts are truly... you?
Korra: I used to worry about that too. All these powers, all these past lives defining who I should be.
Alita: My body wasn't even made for me. My skills, my instincts... they belonged to someone else first.
Alita: (What if I'm just an echo of someone who actually mattered?)
Korra: The way I see it now, we're not just vessels for the past. We're the next chapter.
Korra: What matters is what we choose to do with these inheritances.
Alita: So we honor the past by forging our own future?
Korra: Exactly. And honestly? The past lives would probably be disappointed if we just tried to be carbon copies.
Korra: Trust me, mine certainly let me know when I mess up!
