Story transcript
Roy Hazama: Sorry! Didn't see you there—
Rei: No damage to components. Your trajectory was 23 degrees off optimal.
Roy Hazama: These circuits are for my newest anti-grav rifle. Can't afford to break them.
Rei: Burn pattern suggests plasma backfire. Your safety protocols are inadequate.
Roy Hazama: Exactly! That's why I designed this modular chamber—reduces recoil by 60%!
Rei: Clever. But your heat sink placement will cause thermal drift at sustained fire.
Roy Hazama: You... you actually understand this stuff?
Rei: I calculate ballistic trajectories for fun. Want to fix your design flaw?
Roy Hazama: Would you... maybe want to help me test it tomorrow?
Rei: Only if you promise not to walk into people carrying prototype weapons.
