Story transcript

Yuffie Kisaragi: So this is Gotham? Way more gloomy than I expected!

Yuffie Kisaragi: And I thought Midgar was depressing...

Guts: Something's not right. This world... it's different. I can feel it.

Guts: Griffith's presence is somewhere in this darkness.

Batman: You two aren't from Gotham. Explain yourselves before I consider you threats.

Yuffie Kisaragi: Whoa! Talk about a dramatic entrance! Are you the bat guy everyone's talking about?

Guts: You. You're the legendary Dark Knight of this realm. We need to talk.

Guts: Griffith and his allies across the multiverse are mobilizing. A war is coming.

Nightwing: Batman, I've been tracking these two since they appeared downtown. Their energy signatures are off the charts - definitely not from our universe.

Batman: Multiple dimensional breaches detected across Gotham. Your arrival isn't random.

Batman: Tell me everything about this Griffith. Now.

Yuffie Kisaragi: Great! The brooding bat believes us! See, Guts? I told you finding the local hero would be easier than stealing materia!

Yuffie Kisaragi: Wait... did you say 'dimensional breaches'? You mean we're stuck here?!
