Amada Ken: Finally, some peace and quiet to finish my summer reading...
Amada Ken: (This beach trip was actually a good idea. No shadows, no fighting, just relaxation.)
Takamaki Ann: Hey Ken-kun! We need one more person for volleyball! Come play with us!
Takamaki Ann: Pretty please? Everyone else is too busy setting up the grill!
Amada Ken: I guess I could play for a little while...
Amada Ken: (So much for my quiet reading time. Why am I always the one who gets dragged into these things?)
Kujikawa Rise: Ken-kun! Before you go play, could you help me with my sunscreen? I can't reach my back!
Kujikawa Rise: I'd ask someone else, but you're the only one who won't make it weird!
Amada Ken: W-what? I'm not sure that's... I mean, wouldn't one of the girls be better at...
Amada Ken: (Why do they keep putting me in these situations? I'm supposed to be the responsible one here!)
Shiomi Kotone: Ken-kun! Perfect timing! The waves are amazing right now - can you watch my stuff while I grab something from the cooler?
Shiomi Kotone: Oh, and could you reapply the wax on my surfboard? You're so good at getting it even!
Amada Ken: Hold on! I can't be in three places at once!
Amada Ken: I just wanted to read my book...
Amada Ken: Next time, I'm telling everyone I'm sick and staying at the hotel...
Amada Ken: (Fighting shadows is less exhausting than being the only boy at a beach outing with these girls...)
