Story transcript

Riko: We need to move carefully. The curse gets stronger the higher we go.

Riko: But I know the safest path up from here!

Guts: Stay close, kid. Something feels off about this place.

Guts: The air's too quiet. Usually means trouble.

Johan Liebert: How fascinating. Even in a place like this, humans cling to hope.

Johan Liebert: Tell me, Riko, what drives you to seek what may not want to be found?

Riko: Because that's what adventurers do! We find the impossible!

Riko: Besides, Mom's waiting for me at the bottom... or was it the top?

Guts: Kid, we're literally climbing OUT of the Abyss right now.

Guts: How do you forget which direction we're going?!

Johan Liebert: Perhaps the real abyss was the confusion we made along the way.

Johan Liebert: How... unexpectedly charming.
