Story transcript
Todoroki: People always expect us to be something we're not.
Todoroki: The pressure to live up to family names, or to surpass them entirely.
Sasuke: My brother made sure I understood that burden from a very young age.
Sasuke: Everything I've done has been to prove I'm stronger than the expectations he left me with.
Gray: At least you had a choice in how to respond to that.
Gray: My mentor sacrificed herself to save me, and I couldn't even protect her memory properly.
Todoroki: My father saw me as nothing more than a tool to surpass All Might.
Todoroki: He broke my mother's spirit, and when she couldn't take it anymore...
Todoroki: (The scar she gave me was nothing compared to the one he gave her.)
Sasuke: My entire clan was murdered in a single night!
Sasuke: By the same brother I trusted more than anyone else in the world.
Sasuke: (And the worst part was learning he did it because he loved me.)
Gray: Ur turned herself into ice to stop a demon I couldn't handle.
Gray: Every time I use ice magic, I'm reminded that I'm alive because she's not.
Todoroki: I think we should order something, the waiters passed us for the fith time.
Todoroki: I believe our mentors want us to find some happiness, despite everything they put us through.
Sasuke: You're right. besides some yellow-headed idiot is out there somewhere. trying to convince me to come back to the village.
Gray: We all got our problems, but we are still alive. let's not waste it on grieving about the past.
Gray: Sasuke, Todoroki, we aren't perfect but you know what is? this damn food! let's eat.
