Grace Howard: Unusual energy signatures detected... definitely not from New Eridu tech.
Grace Howard: Command, I'm investigating further. Might need backup.
Optimus Prime: I detect a human presence. I mean no harm. I am Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots.
Grace Howard: You're... you're a sentient robot? From another planet?
Grace Howard: This is incredible! Your design is unlike anything in our databases!
Optimus Prime: I am an autonomous robotic organism from the planet Cybertron. We've come seeking refuge and to protect your world from the Decepticons.
Grace Howard: Your transformation capabilities must require incredible engineering! How do your internal systems reconfigure without damaging components?
Grace Howard: The energy source powering you must be exponentially more efficient than anything we have!
Optimus Prime: We are powered by energon, and our transformation capabilities are part of our very being. Just as you don't think about how to move your arm, we transform instinctively.
