Psylocke: Jean, I can sense the Shadow King's presence growing stronger!
Psylocke: We need to combine our telepathic abilities if we're going to free the Professor!
Jean Grey: I can feel him too, Betsy. He's using Charles's mind as a shield!
Jean Grey: Shadow King knows we won't risk hurting the Professor's psyche...
Psylocke: Then we'll have to be precise. My psi-knife can separate them without damaging Charles's consciousness.
Psylocke: (Just need to get close enough without alerting Shadow King to my true intentions...)
Jean Grey: I'll create a diversion! All my power channeled into one psychic blast!
Jean Grey: Now, Betsy! While his defenses are focused on me!
