• Rock — Rokurō Okajima, more commonly known as Rock, is the main male protagonist of the Black Lagoon series. He is a Japanese businessman who turned into an unwitting pirate of the Lagoon Company.
• NPC — Background charater
• Dutch — Dutch is the leader of the Lagoon Company and presents himself as a former U.S. Vietnam War veteran in the Black Lagoon series. He is the captain and owner of the PT boat Black Lagoon.
• Benny — Benny is a proficient computer hacker, mechanic and fellow pirate of the Lagoon Company. He was originally a university affiliate in Florida until both the FBI and the mafia chased after him sometime in 1992-1993, with Revy saving him from death.
