Story transcript

Artoria Pendragon: Being a king... it's not what they tell you in the stories.

Artoria Pendragon: Everyone expects you to be perfect, but I'm just... tired.

Shihouin Yoruichi: Left everything behind to protect them... and for what?

Shihouin Yoruichi: Sometimes I wonder if they even remember me.

Makima: Control everything... control everyone... but I can't control this emptiness.

Makima: What's the point of power when you're always alone?

Sui-Feng: Dedicated my whole life to following her footsteps...

Sui-Feng: And she just... disappeared without a word!

Tsunade: Fifth Hokage... greatest medical ninja... and I couldn't save the people I loved most.

Tsunade: What good is immortality when everyone you care about dies?

Zenin Maki: No cursed energy, they said. Worthless, they said.

Zenin Maki: I proved them wrong... but destroyed everything I had left.

Lady Nagant: Used to be a hero... now I'm just another villain in someone else's story.

Lady Nagant: When did saving people become so... complicated?

Artoria Pendragon: To all the burdens we carry...

Artoria Pendragon: At least we're not drowning alone tonight.
