Ash Ketchum: I challenge you to a battle! Go, Pikachu!
Ash Ketchum: Let's show him our best moves!
Yugi Muto: A battle? I accept your challenge! But what's that yellow creature?
Yugi Muto: Is that some kind of new Duel Monster?
Ash Ketchum: Duel Monster? No, this is Pikachu, my Pokémon! Aren't you going to send out your Pokémon?
Yugi Muto: I see! Then I'll play Dark Magician in attack position!
Yugi Muto: (I have no idea what a Pokémon is, but I won't back down from this challenge!)
Ash Ketchum: Wait, you're using cards? Where's your Pokéball? How is your monster going to battle?
Yugi Muto: I activate Magical Hats to protect my Dark Magician from your Pikachu's attacks!
Yugi Muto: Your move! But be warned, I have trap cards waiting!
Ash Ketchum: I don't think we're playing the same game! Pikachu, should we try Thunderbolt on... the cards?
Yugi Muto: Wait, you mean your creature actually attacks directly? Not through the cards?
