Teto: All the starter Pokémon are gone already?
Teto: I was really hoping for a Charmander or even a Bulbasaur...
Teto: Huh? You have another Pokémon that needs a trainer?
Teto: Where is it?
Mimikyu: (Maybe this trainer will like me... maybe she'll take me home.)
Teto: Is that... a Pikachu? The costume looks handmade.
Teto: Hello there, little one. I'm Teto.
Mimikyu: (She's talking to me! Not running away! Maybe she'll be my friend!)
Teto: The professor said you're called Mimikyu, right? Would you like to come closer?
Teto: (It's so shy, but there's something sweet about it.)
Mimikyu: (She likes me! She really likes me!)
Mimikyu: (No! My disguise! She can see me!)
Teto: Ah!
Teto: (What was that? That dark shadow under the costume...)
Mimikyu: (She's scared of me now. Just like everyone else. I should have known...)
Teto: (It startled me, but... it looks so upset now. What's under that costume that it's so afraid to show?)
Mimikyu: (She won't want me now. No one ever does when they see what I really am.)

Teto: (It's trying so hard to fix its costume... it must really care about how others see it.)
Teto: Would you like some help fixing your costume? I'm pretty good at sewing.
Teto: I promise I won't peek underneath if you don't want me to.
Mimikyu: (She... she came back? She's not afraid?)
Teto: There we go, good as new. Even better, actually! I added a little heart stitch here.
Teto: You know, Mimikyu, I think we're going to be great friends.
Teto: I don't need a starter Pokémon. I think you and I were meant to find each other.
Teto: Will you be my partner, Mimikyu?
