Story transcript
2B: Yang Xiao Long. I detected elevated stress levels in this sector.
Yang Xiao Long: She's gone... Blake's really gone...
Yang Xiao Long: And now I've got her... this tiny life depending on me.
2B: Your daughter?
2B: She has your eyes.
Yang Xiao Long: Her name's Ruby... named after my sister who... didn't make it.
Yang Xiao Long: (Mercury doesn't even know. How do I tell him? How do I tell anyone?)
2B: Your semblance... it keeps you young. But not your heart.
2B: I know what it's like to outlive those you love.
Yang Xiao Long: Everyone I've ever loved... they're gone. But I'm still here. Still twenty-two.
Yang Xiao Long: What kind of mother can't even age with her child?
2B: Then let us both be immortal guardians. I'll stay too.
2B: YoRHa units don't age either. We'll raise her together.
Yang Xiao Long: You'd really do that? For a stranger and her kid?
Yang Xiao Long: Guess immortals gotta stick together, huh?
