(Every single deadline day, something breaks. Always.)

I sent the backup file to your cloud folder. We can still make the 3 PM presentation.

But the client wants last quarter's analytics, not projections.

Tachyon

Those numbers are on the corrupted drive. The IT guy said recovery takes two days.

Tachyon

(Without those analytics, the promotion goes to the rival team.)

Lumine

Then we recreate them. My notes have the raw data. We just need to visualize it differently.

Sometimes a broken system forces better solutions.

Tachyon

(Wait... the rival team leader's drive. She left it during yesterday's meeting.)

Lumine, what if we had access to their analytics... but it wasn't exactly ethical?

Lumine

Corporate espionage gets people fired. Or worse, it becomes a habit we can't escape.

Lumine

(She's considering it. The old Lumine might have too.)

Not espionage. Just... borrowing inspiration. They won't even notice.
