Demons are born from human corruption. Hollows... hollows are human souls that lost their hearts.

Tanjiro

(Both are tragic, but...)

The real difference? Demons can be purified. Hollows... we have to cut them down before they devour more souls.

Tanjiro

(Even after death, some souls can't find peace...)
